Valfortec has recently managed to take a new big step forward again in regards to his internationalization strategy, during this week we have connected our last photovoltaic plant to the Chilean electricity network, it has been executed by “ La Manga I”, located in the municipality of San Pedro Melipilla (Chile). This new photovoltaic installation has been built since last September and has an output of 3 MW, with an annual production of 6,700 MWh, enough to supply electricity to 2,700 homes for over a year. Chile reflects with this type of actions its incipient interest to counteract the effects of the climate change through renewable energies.
“La Manga I” houses 29,070 photovoltaic panels, combining two different types of panel technology: thin-film and polycrystalline. The PV inverters, they are “string” type and there are 81 installed in total.
This milestone reinforces even more the projection and the strength of the organization when determinig and undertaking projects at an international level. In fact, Valfortec has plans to keep expanding within the Andean country by running several more photovoltaic plants. The United Kingdom and Japan are other different countries in which Valfortec is currently active, in fact, in Japan the construction of three new plants is being carried out right now. Valfortec has been showing interest in developing projects globally during the last five years and his last business movements are confirming the great projection that Valfortec has.
